Course contents :
The theme of the teaching will vary each year. This year the question chosen for talks and discussions is cognitive anthropology.
Learning outcomes of the course :
Critical readings, discussion of different points of view, listening of other points of view, arguing and reasoning.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
The previous attendance to Anthropology of communication is required
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
The course is intended to be a seminar. Each student will be given a book or a serie of papers that (s)he'll have to read, present and comment/criticize along one or two sessions.

Assessment methods and criteria :
Students will have to make an oral presentation of their readings and produce a written account of it. Evaluation will depend on :
- quality of oral presentation (clarity, struture, teaching effort, link with other presentations, discussion, anwer to questions) (30 %)
- quality of the written report (understanding of texts and their scope, additional references, critical stance) (50 %)
- participation : attendance at the seminar and participation in exchanges following the oral presentation of other students. (20%)
