Course contents :

| In continuity with Social and Cultural Anthropology I, this course concentrates on the theories that have become influential in anthropology in the second half of the 20th century. These theories will be illustrated by concrete case studies taken from various ethnographic contexts. | ||

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To introduce students to theories of culture in anthropology. At the end of the course, students will be able to discuss the light that each theory can shed upon the central issues of our time. | ||

| Students must have completed the course of Social and Cultural Anthropology I, appreciate theory, enjoy reading, and have a high degree of curiosity. | ||
