Presentation
This programme is aimed at offering solutions to problems in public health in developing countries. It is based on an integrated approach to health problems, it responds to the priority needs of people in the South as the know-how acquired can be applied directly to a country's context.

Duration of the training

- One year of studies. The study programme includes 477.5 hours of classes, seminars or practical work. With the help of one of the co-ordinators, students are required to establish a study programme in accordance with the provisions below and to have it approved by the joint programme management committee.

- Teaching is in French. A passive knowledge of scientific English is an additional asset for students. If necessary, remediation measures may be recommended by the joint programme management committee.

- The majority of compulsory and recommended classes are organised on UCL and ULB sites. Others are organised within the ULg campus, by grouping them together into whole day sessions to limit travel.

- Insofar as it is possible, students benefit from access to the various structures of the three Schools of Public Health as well as the resources accessible to students from the three faculties of medicine established on these three campuses.
