| Introduction to medical informatics and to the use of the EpiInfo software. |

| Master some basic concepts in health informatics and being able to use the EpiInfo software. |

| Basic knowledge of Windows. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| A theoretical course is given in Liège (ULg) on 9 November 2012. The practical use of EpiInfo is taught at UCL (see course program). |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| One ex-cathedra course. EpiInfo is taught on PCs. |

Recommended or required readings :

| Copies of the slides of the theoretical course are available. As for EpiInfo, lecture notes exist. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| The theoretical exam is done on paper copies while the practical part EpiInfi is done on PC. |
