Course contents :  
This work experience is directly linked with the course PEDA4026-1 .
The students will design (or adapt), implement and examine the learning and teaching activities in a group of pupils (or in a whole class). They will analyze how the activity is carried out and they will measure / interpret the effects of the activities on the pupils.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
  • Design or adapt current learning and teaching activities that help to improve the targeted skills and knowledge and to analyze the conditions of implementation
  • Examine mistakes, difficulties and procedures mobilized by the pupils during these activities
  • Assess the learning outcomes
  • Look at these activities in a reflexive way
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
The course PEDA4026-1 is co-requisite for this work placement.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The work experience will be integrated into the course PEDA4026-1. The practical arrangements will be defined during the course. 
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The guidelines related to the work experience and the guidelines for the analysis of the first results will be integrated into the course PEDA4026-1.
A follow-up session is scheduled at the beginning of the second quarter. One or two additional sessions could be scheduled.
Recommended or required readings :  
The work experience relies on the course PEDA4026-1 (reading folder).
Some additional readings could be asked according to the chosen subjects of experimentation.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
A report with different parts.
