Course contents :  
Theme : representations of health are multiple and depend on the cultural system to which they belong. Study subject : Representations have an important role in the design, understanding and treatment of health. Essential to the balance and vitality of individuals, it does have a multitude of forms which depend on the culture to which they belong, but also many sub-cultures.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Objectives :
- theory : methodology of anthropology to understand intercultural diversity, either differentiated or gender-specific, work on the subject/object about health.
- empirical : understanding of the subject, encountering a different "other", individual positioning, distancing, critical reading of the sociocultural construction of representations and roles.

- written work, prerequisite for the oral examination - an oral exam at the end of the year
Written work : methods will be explained during the first class, and will be explained again at every session and upon student request.
