Course contents :  
The classes will consist of the study of 5 or 6 domains in attitude change and social influence (for instance, evaluative conditioning and advertising, imitation, social norms, subliminal advertising, etc)
Learning outcomes of the course :  
  • Students should acquire a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts.
  • Students should be able to understand what are the key elements of a scientific article.
  • Students should be able to make a correct oral presentation of a scientific article and to ask intelligent questions about the presented researches.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Oral presentation of a scientific article, participation/interventions during the talks and reading of a specialized book.

  • Powerpoints from the talks and a book

Assessment methods and criteria :  
  • quality of the oral presentation of a scientific paper
  • classes participation
  • written evaluation on the book.
ATTENTION : The oral presentation is obligatory. A student who would not orally present an article would not be admitted at the exam. Participation is highly recommanded : the final evaluation is reduced for participants who do not participate.
