The analysis of theories will be accompanied by a detailed examination of carefully selected works of art chosen because they are among the most representative of the periods of time being studied. Texts and images will be placed in a constant dialogue. |
Learning outcomes of the course :
| To allow students to appreciate the value of the development of major concepts in aesthetics such as these appear from Antiquity to the Renaissance. To promote the understanding and the ability to handle these concepts, while raising students' awareness of the art of the periods studied. |
