Course contents :  
The integrated work II, dedicated to drugs, succeed to the integrated work I devoted to raw materials (BAC 3 in pharmaceutical sciences).
The students, divided up into small groups of 10, will receive 5 pharmaceutical specialities. These pharmaceutical products contain the synthetic or natural active substances, the biomolecules and some excipients on which the students will have already worked during the integrated work I. The drugs will cover different pharmaceutical dosage forms.
The students will have to analyze each drug and write a report which will deal with pharmacology, quality control, pharmaceutical technology, interactions, ....
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The objective of the integrated work II is to enable the student to integrate the knowledge acquired in the different fields of the studies in pharmaceutical sciences and to get ready for his role of drug expert.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The integrated work II will be organized in the 2nd semester:
· one introductive session
· four preparative sessions in small groups
· one questions/answers session
· one session for presentation/defense of the reports in small groups
Attendance during the different preparative sessions of the report is mandatory.
Recommended or required readings :  
The instructions will be available on eCampus.
The students will post on eCampus the reports for each drug.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
First session
The students will write by pairs a report on the drug they received. Each pair will have to present the report (Powerpoint presentation) and defend it in front of a board of examiners belonging to each pharmaceutical field, in the presence of the group. During this session, each student will have to be able to answer to the questions concerning the other drugs of his group.
Seconde session
The student will have to write, present and defend his report in front of the examining board again.
