The OECD PISA 2003 Initial Report (Learning for Tomorrow's World: first results from PISA 2003. OECD, 2004) will be the basis of the course.

Before each lecture, students are invited to carefully read a chapter of the report. A particular attention will be given to the understanding of the statistical tools. During the seminar, students will ask their questions. The professor will then expose a critic of the chapter.
