Relations between the anatomical and functional development of cerebral structures and the development of linguistic functions in a life span perspective
Course chapters
Early language developement and its neural correlates. Aquired aphasia in children. Linguistic disorders in epilepsy (Landau-Kleffner). Linguistic disorders in genetic syndromes. Language development in children with Spina bifida. Language comprehension difficulties in children with autism spectrum disordrers and in children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Anomia in normal ageing. Language in Alzheimer disease and in semantic dementia. |

| To understand the relations between the anatomical and functional development of cerebral structures and the development of linguistic functions by considering the impact of cerebral lesions or anomalies on linguistic function.
