| Study of poets and prose writers associated with the Dutch East Indies (H.A. Meijer, Louis Couperus, Jan Prins, H.J. Friedericy, Hella Haasse, Han Resink, Harry Mulisch, ...). |

| Familiarize students with (post)colonial discourses and ideological undercurrents in Dutch literary texts. |
