Course contents :

| The author to be read in this biennial class (odd years) can vary each time. During the academic year 2013-2014 Basil of Caesarea's Address to young men on the study of classical literature will be read, explained, translated and commented on. For MA 1 students, there will also be a personal work on intertextuality, whereas MA 2 students will have private reading of Plutarchus. |

| Linguistic training, illustrating the main literary genres as well as Greek civilisation and stimulating the reading of Greek authors. |

| Very good knowledge of Ancient Greek. |
