Learning outcomes of the course :  
The objective of this course is to provide a comparative introduction to the law of contract. Students will gain a basic understanding of the nature of a contract and the underlying principles of contract law, as well as the law with respect to the formation of contracts, defects of consent and other vitiating factors, the content and effect of contracts and remedies for breach of contract. The course will look at English, French, German and Dutch law as well as the Principles of European Contract Law.
