Course contents :  
  • Study of Christianity as a historical phenomenon
  • Evolution of the historiography (17th -21th c.)
  • Origin and causes of the phenomenon
  • Representations of Jesus during the long history of his reception.
  • Critical analysis of the sources
  • Introduction to the principal concepts of theology (historical point of view)
  • Introduction to the history of the ecclesiastical Institutions
  • Introduction to the role of women in Christianity

  • This course is considered from the purely historical point of view .
