| Analysis and interpretation of art in an historical perspective (iconological approach). |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| - Good knowledge of European Art History of the 15th and 16th centuries;
- ability to use a bibliography including books or articles in English and Italian. |

| The oral examination will cover the knowledge and methodological subjects covered during the course. Lectures and presentations made by students and written reports of readings will also be taken into account. |
