  • · know and understand the basic theories and concepts in diversity management
  • · know and understand the social issues linked with diversity within organizations
  • · know and understand the political issues influencing diversity management
  • · analyze and understand the relations between diversity management and HRM issues in order to solve a concrete management issue
  • · research the information needed to solve a problem linked to diveristy manage ment and to present this information adequately
  • · work within a team
  • · assess critically political, economic and business information on diveristy management at national and international levels
  • · develop a global vision
  • · demonstrate a sense of synthesis
  • · communicate orally
  • · identify ethical and responsible behavior in organizations linked with diversity
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
having following one course in HRM in the cursus of bachelor or master- send information about this course at annie.cornet@ulg.ac.be
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
some articles to read before the coursework group analysis of case study/ some people inviter / some personal research
all the students must attend at all courses
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
face to face - you must be at each course you will have texts to prepare before the course individual work to present in course

Assessment methods and criteria :  
2 work group (25% each) 1 individual work (25% ) participation au cours et qualité de la préparation (25%) The subject of the work will be fixed in the first course even the group and datelines

There will be max. 15 international students accepted and max. 5 students from the same country.
