Course contents :

| Aeolian vibrations - wake induced and galloping (20h). Electrmechanical behaviour of substations during short-circuit (8h). Earthquake and other dynamic problems (2h). |

Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| Giving opportunity to look for severe non-linear complex problems having impact on the design of overhead electrical lines and substations. The physics, the equations of the phenomenon ar described and particular attention is devoted to the understanding of some particular problems like instabilities, limit cycle.
Multidisciplinary approaches are needed. |
