Course contents :  
The course objectives are:
- first, to address the criminal law elements that are of general application to business crime;
- then, to discuss the principles of the organisation of criminal law in connection with business crime; and
- finally, to examine in detail the most common offences in the business world: forgery, fraud, corruption, money laundering, professional secrecy and special laws (tax fraud, environment, market practices, insider offences, etc.)
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Raise students' awareness of the imperatives of the standards the violation of which is criminally sanctioned, an obstacle that is often overlooked by the business world.
Reflection on the limits of self-regulation but also of criminal punishment.
For students of the Master in Management : This course contributes to the following Intended Learning Outcomes :  
ILO-1 : To strengthen knowledge and understanding of management disciplines and its legal, policy and social context
 
ILO-2 : Gaining the knowledge and understanding of one of the proposed fields of concentration or to gain deep knowledge in the field of the management being already specialized thru a first University Master Degree . 
 
ILO-4 : To acquire the capacity to research autonomously and methodically the information needed to solve a complex, transversal management problem, 
 
ILO-9 : Developing a critical sense (arguing) 
 
ILO-14 : Faced with a management problem, suggesting solutions that are ethical and socially responsible and that respect the principles of good governance.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral examination
Students must bring legal texts with them.
The students must also have their codes and other necessary legal texts that are up to date; the only annotations allowed are cross-references between articles, comments in the texts are not permitted; articles may also be underlined or highlighted; post-it notes are permitted but only with the article numbers or titles of the laws or titles of the articles (for example “share”)
