| The course is held every even year (2014-2015, 2016-2017, ...)
Anyway, this course consists of a piece of work written by the student on a subject either proposed by the student or suggested by the lecturer.
In it, students should analyse an infringement or a law which has an economic element to it in the largest sense (commercial law, social law, environmental law, fiscal law, ...).
The study should include a presentation of the infringement, the constitutive elements (doctrine and jurisprudence), details of the penal procedure where specified and other personal considerations: greater emphasis should be given to penal law rather than economic or any other kind of law. |

| To enable the student to approach a subject independently and to produce a written analysis of a range of reading. |

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Knowledge of general penal law, the penal procedure and certain other branches of law in relation to the chosen subject. |

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| A written report of 20-30 pages in length, to be submitted for the 5th of June (1st session) or for the 20th of August (2nd session). |
