Course contents :  
This lecture is taught at the USC Kinshasa. It is divided in two parts. The first part is taught by Prof. Gilbert Ngbanda and is devoted the basic rules of contract law. The second part is taught by Prof. Christine Biquet and will consist in the resolution of cases as well as in the analysis of contract clauses.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The purpose of the lecture, and more specially of the second part, is to enable the students to have a pratical approach to some concepts of contract law, and to identify, when drafting or assessing the performance of a contract, the issues that could give rise to a dispute or to a solution contrary to their own interests or to their clients' interests.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
For the second part, the students are invited to prepare the practical cases that will be provided to them before the lectures. Hence, there will be able to propose themselves their solutions to the cases, that will be then discussed and/or adapted during the lectures.

For the second part of the lecture : written exam - resolution of practical cases. The students are invited to identify the questions, to justify their solution and to provide a coherent reasoning.
