Course contents :
 |
| The placement and supervised reading help students to reflect on the themes in the "Children, families, institutions" module, during the sessions. Students are supported in their approach towards research, preparation and doing their placement. Group discussions and exchanges concerning experiences during the placement and shared thematic reading activities enrich the theoretical framework to which the subject of study belongs (for instance: dropping out of school, positive conflict management, etc.). |
 |
Learning outcomes of the course :
 |
| At the end of the tutorial sessions, students will be able to:
- Write a CV and a "well-informed" cover letter, i.e. being aware of the specific skills that should be highlighted;
- Write a negotiated list of tasks/activities to be done and objectives to be achieved, but also take the initiative to make new proposals within an organisation;
- Transpose the theory and practice learnt during the course and lectures within the framework of the tutorial sessions into useful skills within the professional environment where the placement takes place;
- Take a critical look at the placement done;
- Draw on historical, contextual or conceptual elements in the literature seen in class that may help students to understand their situation in the placement. |

- Elaboration of proposals of tasks/activities to be achieved in relation to the students' skills and the host organisation's specified needs, or needs to be specified;
- Analysis of confrontation in practical terms, taught in M1 (and possibly the bachelor's degree) in anthropology through tasks/activities.
- Oral presentations of key books.
These activities will be take place during exchanges between the teacher and the students and among the students. Students are expected to participate actively. |
