Course contents :  
Studies of learning provide insights into the way experience influences our behavior on a permanent basis.
Basic associative learning principles have contributed to our understanding of the functions of the nervous system. They have provided useful models for different psychological disorders. They allowed the study of the cognition and intelligence evolution in various species. Finally, methods and analytical models developped to study conditioning and learning have been adopted in other investigation fields (infant cognition, behavioral neuroscience, psychopharmacology, behavioral medecine, behavioral toxicology, special education, etc.).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The use of procedures of pavlovian, instrumental and operant Learning will be examined in the frame of an applied perspective.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course is organised as a seminar. The student will present the use of a conditioning procedure to study a particular behavioral or cognitive aspect.
Recommended or required readings :  
Several scientific articles will be used for the oral presentation and for the written report.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
The evaluation is based on the participation on the seminar, on the oral presentation and on the written report.
