Course contents :  
The book dedicates one chapter for each of the following learning/teaching cases :
1. Observation/Modelling 2. Reception/Transmission 3. Practice/Coaching 4. Exploration/Documentation 5. Experimentation/Reactivity 6. Creation/Confortation 7. Metacognition 8. Debate/Animation
They are linked to learning theories (associationism, constructivism, cognitivism, instumentalism...).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
- Analyse learning activities referring to different learning/teaching events.
- Make links between the learning/teaching paradigms and learning theories.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The MFTA course is mainly based on the reception / transmission paradigm.
Learners' participation is elicited during course and at a distance:
- face to face interactions, - questions and answers through forums, - Reading Questions Answer Test method, - Training to exams modalities: multiple choice questions including general implict solutions (MCQ-GIS), large choice questions (LCQ) and confidence degree use, - "Challenge" workshop: problem-solving activities, - case production and analysis.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The course takes place mainly during face to face sessions. However, students will be asked to carry out distance activities.

Course's slides are posted on eCampus following the broached contents.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
- Cases production and analysis refer to the teaching/learning paradigms and learning theories. Work planned during a specific period mentioned in the activity instructions.
- Written exam with Degrees of Certainty in two phases :
  • (1) Without books: large choice questions refferinf to a concepts and authors' names list.
  • (2) Open Books: by MCQs and General Implicit Solutions : None, All, Lack of Data, Absurdity (Non sense) in the first part of the question.
    The Degrees of Certainty (DC) permit the students to obtain additional Metacognitive Bonus points provided their score in Confidence and Prudence reach minimal levels fixed for each of them and that a minimal number of answers is given by the student with a Degree of Certainty .
