Course contents :

| The student is introduced to historical linguistics of French by a course of historical phonetics (study about the changes of the sounds composing a word from his birth up to now). |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| To know the main mechanisms of evolution of the sounds and to be able to reconstitute the phonetic evolution of french words. |
