Course contents :

| Cross-curricular competency "resolving problems" is complementary to specific skills and the type of management. It refers to attitudes, behaviors and forms of language in a particular professional context.
The perceptions of the different problems in a professional context.
Examples of integrated tools for the assessment of problems.
The representation of reality.
Behavioral habits, attitudes, language in the search for solutions to problems.
The demonstration of risks or potential the potential deviation associated with "first" solutions.
The importance of a factual questioning system.
The precise identification of the objective of problem resolution.
The link between the types of positions in the interaction and maintenance of the problem.
The stages of the interactional approach.
The search for innovative actions against the risks or spin-offs associated with spontaneous solutions.
The identification of factors hindering the resolution of problems.
The problem resolution module presents continuity from perception-action of the individual or group to the identification of the pitfalls of reactionary habits and leads to the conditions for changing outlooks which is indispensable for the resolution of problems. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| The main objective of this module is to develop the ability to analyze professional difficulties.
By the end of this module, the participants will be capable of:
- Identifying their representation of an organization.
- Anticipating their habitual reactions to professional problems.
- Verifying whether these professional habits result in the resolution of the problem.
- Being objective by using the different stages of the interactional approach.
- Innovating actions that lead to change.
- Benevolently ensuring that these actions are monitored.

Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

| Displaying a concern for compassion in professional life.
Drawing on the notions of leadership and teamwork.
At the start of the module, the participants will be invited to state their motivation to sign up to the certificate of transversal competences. |

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
 |
| The module uses the professional experience of the participants.
The module favors the participative approach. Concrete simulation exercises on the subject of professional difficulties will be the subject of group work, collective summary and the presentation of content in relation to the participants' production.
A concern for active compassionate listening will be present in the debates, commentaries and opinions given during this module. |

Recommended or required readings :

| A deliverable, covering practical exercises, conceptual tools, a summary of bibliographical references and a list of bibliographical works will be distributed to each participant. |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| An exercise simulating a professional difficulty will be the subject of an analysis suggested by the module by using conceptual tools.
The ownership criterion of this module will be the ability to take ownership of the different stages of the interactional approach. |

Work placement(s) :

| The participant will compile a written case- study of professional difficulties carried out in accordance with the conceptual tools presented. |

| The implementation of a deontological code of participation in the module.
