Course contents :

- Understanding the interaction between the external world and a company in order to determine a strategic position. An explanation of the importance of strategy on the flexibility of the company.
- Theoretical explanation of analysis tools for strategic marketing (Pestel, Porter's Value Chain concept, BCG matrix, SWOT analysis).
- Application of these tools to the companies of participants.
- Intervention by an external party enabling participants to visualize the practice covered in theory.
- Creation of psychological profiles of the participants enabling them to become aware of their strengths and weaknesses and how to improve their strengths where possible.
- A workshop for working on the flexibility of the participants based on Lumina spark profiles.
- An interactive panel between the participants and specialists of industrial professions centred around the theme of flexibility and based on real situations in the companies of the participants (preparation before session) and debriefing (work which will be done post- session).

Learning outcomes of the course :

- Students will acquire an understanding of the importance of strategy in business and interdependence between the company and the outside world.
- Understand the current and future impact of everything that is external to the company (local, regional, worldwide), the way the company functions and the social responsibility demands of the company:
- Learn how to be proactive with regard to their emotions and reactions in order to achieve better adaptability.
- Apply the taught material to real situations.
- Reflect on their own adaptability to the business world.
