Course contents :  
The course aims to give an understanding of the construction of political opinions, attitudes and behavior through the ages, by presenting successively sociological, rational choice and psychological approaches.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The course allows to identify the different influences that could explain the political positions of citizens in our contemporary society.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The course will be mainly composed of ex cathedra lessons. Depending on the number of students, group work may be required for students following the course in order to practice the three approaches presented.

Assessment methods and criteria :  
Oral examination. If written work is required for students, the work will be 40% of the final grade and the oral examination will be 60%.
