In 2012-2013 Euripides' Iphigeneia at Aulis will be studied.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Linguistic training, illustrating the main literary genres as well as Greek civilisation and stimulating reading of Greek authors.
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Very good knowledge of Ancient Greek.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
Personal preparation is required each week.

Recommended or required readings :  
Syllabus including the OCT edition by James Diggle. The Paris text edition of Euripides by François Jouan is also very useful for its introduction and French translation.
