The digital economy is a priority. Companies and organizations must begin a deep reflection on their digital transformation. Business models, marketing, training, work organization and human resources, relationships with customers, partners and suppliers, research and development, information and communication networks, ... every aspect of the business activities will be concerned by this revolution. The main goal of the course is to provide students with a 360 ° view of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and make them understand their key issues, especially for the enterprises. Main topics :
  • The Web as a universal platform. Web technologies, standards, development platforms, Cloud computing, etc.
  • Web ². A fusion of real and virtual worlds. Mobile technologies, unified communications and IP technologies, IPv6, Internet of Things and perspectives (human augmentation, robotics, 3D printing, etc.)., Actors and strategies (Apple, Microsoft, Google, start-ups, etc.).
  • From data to services. The new power of data. Technological watch on and with ICT, search engines and SEO, e-reputation, crowdsourcing, Big Data and Open Data, actors and strategies (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, etc.).
  • Empowerment. A redistribution of roles. E-business models (B2B, B2C, C2C, social commerce, BYOD, etc.), e-marketing, social networks and Web 2.0 tools, new forms of collaboration and work, crowdfunding, actors and strategies.
It is not a technical or computing course. The approach will be to focus on the "uses and challenges" of ICT.
Learning outcomes of the course :
At the end of the course, the students will have the skills to :
  • know and understand the challenges and opportunities of ICT;
  • take over the management or support for the online strategy and the ICT projects of a company (Web, e-marketing, e-business, connectivity, etc.);
  • identify the partners that a company should use to implement its ICT projects;
  • use ICT tools and organize a technology watch for a company.
