In the beginning, students will be given a list of themes and guidance on how to get to work. Then, while preparing their work in the library, they will attend a series of classes on the relationship between anthropology and development. At the end of this introduction, students will take turns presenting their work via oral presentations to the seminar. |
Learning outcomes of the course :
| The objective of the course is to place students in the situation of a consultant who provides an anthropological analysis of a question that directly concerns development organizations: health, refugees, ethnicity, etc. In order to produce such analyses, student consultants must be able to develop argumentation that is synthetic, critical, and substantial in bibliographic terms. They will also have to show their abilities as regards delivery of public presentations. |
