Course contents :  
The training course proceeds in a High Teaching School.


This training course must allow the student, future-trainer, to accompany an educational psychology professor in the various facets of its trade and to lead it to manage a course (to guarantee resources, to arrange and manage situations of integration in preparation and/or exploitation of the training course).


The objective is to lead young teachers to become reflexive practitioners. It supposes to work at the same time with the development of their competences and their professional identity.


The student will have to sensitize the future teachers with an effective and equal approach by competences (APC).
Learning outcomes of the course :  
The future trainer will have
- to create contents of course in order to sensitize the future teachers with the APC; documents and tasks allowing the approriation of theoritical concepts, the respect of the decreed documents, know-how exercises and the development of professional competences ;
- to manage these different tasks during lessons they'll give to future teachers;

- to take part in various tasks (like team meetings, training visits, training course evaluations, etc.).

P 229: Professional Didactic and Initial Teachers Education (Part 2)
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :  
The students will be divided into duet and will have to assume 15 hours of course in a High Teaching School (in the sections Kindergarten, primary or secondary education).
They will be accompanied by a supervisor who is an educational psychology professor.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
The teacher training proceeds in a High teaching School.

The school notes are made up
- legal references relative to the considered topic (Décret Missions (Missions-Decree), Contrat pour l'école (Contract for School), Circulars concerning the teacher education, Socles de compétences (Competences Basis), Curriculums of different schools,...)
- of a framing text « Former des enseignants pour une école juste et efficace » (Build teachers for an effective and equal school)
- a theoretical reference of professional Didactic: Beckers, J. (2007). Compétences et identité professionnelles : l'enseignement et autres métiers de l'interaction humaine. Bruxelles : De Boeck.
This book can be purchased at the pycho Office for a price around 25 euros.
- complementary theoretical supports in order to support the work of each group.

The future trainers are also invited to make complementary research to create their lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
The marks are distributed as follows
- 50% are allotted to the visit that is made by the assistant who works at University
- 50% are devoted to the evaluation of lesson preparations as well as the teaching practise report.
