Course contents :  
Biopsychology is the scientific discipline interested in the relations between psychological processes and the brain.
We will define biopsychology and will examine the methodological foundations. Then we will study the sensory and motor systems, several issues related to brain plasticity, biopsychology of motivation and, finally, disorders of cognition and emotion.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :  
First semester.

Textbook: John Pinel (2007). Biopsychologie. 6e édition. PEARSON Education.
PDF files will be put online on the student portal.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
Written exam (MCQ and discussion questions).
Organizational remarks :  
A workgroup for each chapter will be consituted to allow the management of your interests, questions, difficulties, etc.
