The course is meant for ULg students as well as for members of the profession (planning to be) involved in action-researchs, who take part in the context of a partnership between the "Service de Méthodologie des Innovations scolaires" and the "Université populaire" of the Liège province.
It aims to support all participants, by exploiting their multiple origins and communities of belonging as well as their diverse training and experience, in their attempt to construct a better theoretical and concrete knowledge and understanding of the objectives, endeavours, results and difficulties of action-research.
The course will be structured according to the following chronological sequence:
- the first part will be devoted to a general introduction to the themes and activities of the course;
- then the participants will form smaller groups including both students and members of the profession. Each of these groups will identify a key question asked by the action- research and will seek ways of answering it. Each of the groups will avail itself of the specific resources deemed necessary and of the more general resources provided by the course;
- finally, the various groups will share their conclusions with a view to elaborating a synthesis and gesturing towards further theorization of the material under discussion.
