Course contents :  
The course will start with a global introduction on school bullying (definition of the problem, extents, consequences, factors, prevention methods, ...) then will study one of the main place where bullying takes place : playground of primary schools.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
Bring attention to the extent and seriousness of school bullying, but also to show how important it is for each teacher to understand/prevent & cure it.
Consider the playground as a place where school bullying is most likely to happen : good sides, dangers, how hard it is to supervise it, ...
Relocate the educative relation in the solution to this problem (preventing methods/devices, ...).

Lectures, discussions, seminars, meetings with experts, observation of a playground and personal reading.

Weekly course of 3 periods, argumented on theory-practice

Various articles (mostly in English and not yet determined) will also be available at meetings.
Assessment methods and criteria :  
The (written) examination focuses on reading the following book:
Légal, J-B., & Delouvée, S. (2008). Stéréotypes, préjugés et discrimination. Paris: Dunod.
It asked the student, through a written report to circumscribe in what ways reading of this book will have confirmed/qualified/deepened the thoughts and reflections addressed during the course.
