Course contents :  
- The mathematical concept of a system, classification of agricultural systems
- Linear models in the time domain, first-order and second-order models
- The transfer function, poles and residues,transient responses
- The frequency response, Bode and Nyquist diagrams
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To give the basis of system modeling in the agricultural and agro-industry area (input - output relationships). Exercices are performed by using Matlab.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- model physical systems by using differential linear equations
- know how to determine the parameters
- calculate the transfert function and the frequency response function
