Learning outcomes of the course :

| The course is aimed at giving students a theoretical and practical knowlege of tools used in computer graphics. Two paradigms are studied : ray tracing approaches and projection approaches such as OpenGL. The common techniques of these image generation paradigms are developped, such as light interaction with surfaces and the geometrical description of these surfaces. More specific points pertaining to each of the approaches are also described. A practical training completes the theoretical lectures, along with a small project. |
