Course contents :  
This course will analyze harmonization directives in the area of trademarks, designs and models, and systems for community-wide protection.
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To make students aware of the essentially European nature of the matter, and to encourage them to develop the instincts of a European legal expert
Prerequisites and co-requisites/ Recommended optional programme components :  
Basic understanding of the law governing trademarks, designs and models.

10 three-hour class meetings during the first term.
