Course contents :  
The theoretical course is conceived in the form of five seminars with active participation of students 1. Recalling the basics of energy 2. Deepening few specific themes : emission permites, carbon taxes, green certificates, gray energy, energy efficiency ... 3. Methods to develop an energy balance of an area and analysis of a practical guide for energy management at the municipal level 4. Analysis of Priority areas of intervention : urban forms and densities, mobility and transport, sustainable consumption 5. Critical analysis of the role of energy in planning documents One day of visit on the field of innovating actions will complete the formation
Learning outcomes of the course :  
To induce the students to integrate energy dimension in the analysis of the territories and the development of actions in order to reduce the greenhouse effect gas emissions

2d year bachelor course of geographical Sciences "Gégraphie de l'énergie" ("Geography of Energy") and these publications :

Three types of documents are distributed to the students 1. Preparatory files for the seminaries with questions to prepare, grids of analysis and tracks of investigation 2. The seminars Power Points 3. Readings portfolio for the personal works
Assessment methods and criteria :  
The course is based on a double evaluation which is a co-evaluation 1.Reports presented during the seminars: 60% of the points 2. Reports presented during the examination : 40% of the points
