| Course contents : | A few weeks are devoted to a general and intensive review of the main difficulties of German grammar (declensions, conjugations, syntax...). Following this, we will go through numerous translation exercises having to do with history, art history, philosophy, etc. |
| Course objective : | At the end of this course, students must be capable of translating a text of average difficulty. To achieve this objective, students must ensure they learn the specific basic vocabulary. |
| Prerequisites : | Participation in the course is difficult for students with no knowledge of German. We strongly recommend that any students with little knowledge of German should participate very actively from the beginning of the course. |
| Workshops : | One text and/or numerous sentences to be translated every week. |
| Organization : | Duration and period: 45 hours in the 1st and 2nd quadrimesters. Times: Tuesdays 12:00 to 13:30. See http://cipl82.philo.ulg.ac.be/horaires |
