  • General nutrition including reminds on nutritional needs, digestive physiology, bromatologic analysis
  • Specific nutrition of ruminants and monogastrics in tropical countries
  • Computer rationing
  • Cases studies in tropical countries developed by students

- Specific animals requirements in hot climates - ingredients and forages resources available in hot climates - Diet formulation applied to a study case: poultry in hot climates

Course objective :  
part 2

The course aims to develop overall competences in animal nutrition and in chemical analysis of food, allowing any application for specific cases, by the way of a student's personal work

part 1

By the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to formulate complete diets and complementary feeds for single stomach aniamls and grazing ruminants thanks to his good understanding of dietary requirements and feed ressources available in hot climates.
