| Course contents : | The work of systematic clinical intervention is intended to modify the processes which, in the life of a family group, have given rise to a particular behavior on the part of a given patient. The aim is to seek out the meaning of this behavior over and above its symptoms, and to help the married couple or family, considered as systems, to escape the negative consequences of a given pathology. |
 |
| Course objective : | Based on the above rationale, systematic clinical assistance will be studied according to the following steps :
- Time to Listen (telephone record, first interview, analysis of what is needed) ;
- Modes of Family Observation (triangle, genogram, sculptures, role-playing games)
- Relation-based Diagnosis (Hypothesis-forming and re-definition as processes of both diagnosis and intervention)
- Therapeutic Construction (Syntax and grammar of intervention)
- Development and Management of accepting patient(s) in various contexts of systematic clinical assistance/treatment.
