Language :  Spanish language
Course contents :  Levels CECR:
- Listening : A2
- Reading: A2
- Speaking : A2
- Writing : A2
Course objective :  It is a question of studying the basic situations of the everyday life in a communicative perspective. For example: to present (oneself), to orientate in the space, to situate (oneself) in the time, to order in a bar, in a restaurant, to go shopping, etc.
The times studied will allow the student to express themselves in the present, in the past, in the future.
We shall also read some texts in touch with their orientation of studies.
The course thus aims at giving to the students the means to understand simple messages, orally and in writing, and to express themselves in the same way.
Prerequisites :  The course addresses the beginners. However, we would try to organize two groups: a group of real beginners, who have never studied Spanish and a group of "false" beginners. The course, the subject and the final evaluation will be the same, it is simply a question of harmonizing the levels.
Organization :  The course is given at the rate of one hour and a half a week during all year.
Written notes :  We shall use the following textbook: Miquel L. and Sans N., Rapido, rapido, curso intensivo de espanol, Barcelona, Difusion, 2002, Libro del alumno and Cuaderno de ejercicios. It is for sale in the bookshop L'échappée belle , Boulevard Saucy.
Besides, a small dictionary of French-Spanish , without being obligatory, is nevertheless desirable.
Assessment :  The evaluation will be established in the following way:
- Interrogation of January:/20
- Exposition in class:/20
- Participation and activity in the course:/10
- Examination of May-June:/50
The points of the examination will be divided up as follows:
- Written examination:/30 (grammar, listening, reading, writing)
- Oral examination:/20 (a situation of the textbook + an article in touch with their orientation of studies).
