| Course objective : | Analysis of the characteristics and conditions of post-harvest modifications of horticultural crops (vegetables, fruits and flowers) and management of the storage conditions for optimal commercial quality After completing the course the student is expected to - To approach the quality attributes of horticultural commodities - To apprehend the conditions of acquisition and maintain of quality attributes - To argument the tools and methods of measurement of analytical properties of harvested crops - To analyze the causes and characteristics of changes of harvested crops - To discuss specific storage conditions and duration in relation to crop properties. |
