Course contents :  
  • Students welcome
  • Presentation of the two Universities implied in the Master
  • Presentation of the institutional context (Europe, Belgium, Walloon region), especially in the environmental field
  • Presentation of the Master cursus, options and practical modalities
  • Introduction to environmental sciences and management in developing countries
  • Introduction to impact studies
  • Presentation by the students of a their personal proposal
Course objective :  
  • better know students and develop a "team spirit"
  • advice students on the institutional context and Belgian universities
  • have a good understanding of the programme and of the objectives of this Master
  • Lear how to set up and present a personal project
Prerequisites :  See admission conditions of this Master
Workshops :  
  • Oral presentation by the students of their project.

  • Presentation by the three coordinators (12H)

  • Personal work: preparation and presentation of a personal proposal (9H)
