Course contents :  This course will allow the future physiotherapist to address all the general principles concerning training the muscular energy in building up the body, and training plans.
Course objective :  1. The main principles, goals and demands of sports training (2h).

2. Developing the process of producing alactic anaerobic, lactic aerobic and aerobic energy. For each system we will define the original characteristics of the exercise, the training methods used as well as the terminology most currently used (4h).

3. An athlete's physical training (4h)

- developing strength (isometric, isotonic, iso-kinetic; plyometrics)

- gaining speed (body movement reactions)

- suppleness (active + passive)

-endurance (organic and muscular)

4. Drugs and sport (2h)

5. General and specific body conditioning (2h)
Organization :  1st quadrimester, Wednedsay : 8.30 - 10.00
Written notes :  Available from the lecturer.
Assessment :  Written examen in January.
