Course contents :  The object of this course is the description of some general topics concerning the human rights in a European context, topics chosen by the teacher and later by the students. Last year, the first year of the teaching of this course, the course gave a description of the birth of the european system of human rights and their typical characteristics, of the rights of the child, and of certain healthrights-oriented topics (abortion, euthanasia, collocation of people with mental disorders,....).In the middle of the course, the teacher askes the students their opinion and suggestions about the topics they're interested in, some of them will become the object of the course.
Course objective :  The study and description of general human rights topics serves as a pretext for an interactive course in Dutch, where students are invited to activate their written and spoken level of the Dutch language and to progress in it. The course is interactive: the students have to participate and have to express their opinion in Dutch. The correct (typical) language is more important than the juridical content.

At the end of the year, the students will teach each a topic in a group of 2 students, the oral examination consist in giving a lecture of 1 hour in Dutch.
