| Language : | French language |
| Course contents : | Theory : - Bacteriophages : their use to construct cDNA expression librairies. - Expression of a gene of interest using recombinant plasmids or viruses (baculovirus, retrovirus, vaccinia virus,...); - Transgenic animals, Gene therapy; - siRNAs and potential applications. |
| Course objective : | To present the strategy leading to the cloning, the identification and the expression of a gene of particular interest with special emphasis on animal cells. After completing the course the student is expected to be able to propose the cloning of a gene in different expression systems |
