| Course objective : | The psychology and sociology classes aim to provide a better understanding of people, the complexity of collective living, and the social dynamics of contemporary society. The classes also aim to incite analytical and reflective practice in such a way as to develop an architectural response taking into account human, social and ethical challenges. |

| Prerequisites : | The first year course in psychology. |

| Organization : | Seminar including analysis of communication and role playing games.
Drafting an analytical piece of work. |

| Written notes : | The basic theory is set out in the first year psychology syllabus in terms of its relationship to space and architecture. A bibliography is included in the syllabus.
