| Course contents : | we will present a number of techniques used by work psychologists, ergonomists and researchers to analyze work situations, tasks and activities. |

| Course objective : | For many work situations such as aviation, medecine, nuclear power plants, ...there are not a lot of behaviors that can be observed: most of the part of the actitivity is in the "head". The cognitive psychology allows us to make some inferences about the cognitive activities and to test them. It is useful to remember that an observator is not neutral! So the choice of a technique must be done in the frame of a theoritical basis. We will present a number of techniques ( observations, interviews, questionnaires,...) following the same structure : goal, theoritical frame, material, procedure,treatments,advantages, limits and examples.
An application of these techniques will be done by the student in the optional cursus : Questions pratiques de techniques d'investigation. |
